How do noncitizens feel about this day? My understanding is that there are three avenues one can take to become a citizen: -- Money — Mission running — Military service Clealy there must be hundreds of millions of people that wanted to become a citizen, but fell short due to valid unforeseen personal reasons or just plain bureaucracy, nepotism or even failing to pay off corrupt politicians. Are these civilians envious? Do they ignore Citizens Day, celebrate it or try and sabotage it? At the very least vandalize the festive decorations. — I imagine not every was born physically capable of military service. — I imagine it isn’t cheap to buy citizenship especially if corrupt authorities can make money off of the concept. — Not everyone has the means, time or physical ability to run missions. What goes on this day in the mind of the disenfranchised who put so much effort into the process of citizenship status, but is certain he/she got slighted after decades of blood, sweat and tears?
