I'll keep this short and sweet. I think you should allow CCU to pirate gladius. If you can CCU to a Valiant, you should be able to do it to a Pirate Gladius. They are substantially the same, and players already have to beat swarm to get it in the first place. This feels like a very purposeful way to prevent players from using LTI tokens they have for a ship of their preference, without injecting new money. Which does feel predatory, and it feels like you're going back on letting players be flexible with their contributions to the project. Every other new ship allows you to CCU to it, granting LTI or whatever else from the previous ship..this really shouldn't be different.
