So far in Star Citizen there are two ships players can use (legal or illegal activities). These are the newly released Cutlass Blue and the RSI Mantis. If you have already tried the Mantis for Quantum Dampening (stops other ships from entering quantum), you know it has a range from 15km to 20 km max. I have yet to see it as a complete number. It depends. Compare this with the Cutlass Blue (cop version of the cutties) and has a tested range for Quantum Dampening of only 2000 m = 2Km. Amiwrong? If not, why so low? Can we extend this equating that of the Mantis at least?
