Does CIG look at "Ask the Devs" on Spectrum? Serious question. No responses or signs of life from CIG here in several weeks. Ohh, rabidCRABS don't you know?? CIG is hard at work on the latest patch! They don't have time to perform community engagement on Spectrum. Doesn't seem to stop CIG employees from replying to meme threads on reddit on a near daily basis, or burning resources and seemingly a dozen employees times making an elaborate April Fools Day video, and it definitely doesn't stop the 'Director of Community' from tirelessly trying to put out fires on twitter created from botched community enforcement from the "Player Relations" team. Seems like theres a ton of trivial engagement from CIG on meaningless things and the one place which we should expect at least some sign of life or engagement with the community on, "Ask the Devs" on Spectrum, goes totally cold for several weeks at a time, all the time. Where is the community engagement? Where is the interaction? Where is the "Community Team"? What do they do? Do they only interact with streamers?? I recently made a post in this forum which I thought was well thought out and received a huge backing from community (exponentially more than 99% of questions on "Ask the Devs") but it went cold and eventually fell far from the front page of "Ask the Devs". It will likely never get any form of acknowledgement or appreciation from CIG for my attempt to engage with them. What is the point of this forum? 99.9% of the forum is backers attempting to answer backers questions with no involvement or insight from CIG. Should CIG disable backer replies to questions submitted here to help expose the lack of effort in answering anything?
