Hi there, not sure if I choose the correct tag, so let me know if I should correct that. I am wondering if you guys allready have an idea on how well Star Citizen will utilize multicore CPUs in the future once Vulcan made it to the PU. Right know highest IPC wins as far as I understood because of the current limitation to two primary threads. Currently I assume the i7 12700k or i9 12900k to be the best CPU für Star Citizen due to the highest IPC currently available. What I am wondering is, if lets say a core monster like the 5950x (which still got a good IPC) will rise and shine in the future of SC because of the high core count? Or will we see that only a certain amount of cores will bring a performance increase while more cores will just keep idling? Is there a known/expected limit on what level of multicore utilization will be possible in the future for Star Citizen? Of course I understand that it won't be possible right now to say which CPU will be better. But I would really appreciate any indication what Vulcan might be able to do in SC.
