Hello CIG Development Team, First of all, I would like to express my support and appreciation for CIG’s recent actions against players who exploited bugs to generate money or items, as well as the investigation and enforcement against accounts that benefited from suspicious transfers. I am very glad to see CIG taking the fairness of the in-game economy seriously and actively working to protect the experience of legitimate players. In the past, seeing an unreasonable number of high-value assets, such as Idris frigates, appearing everywhere made the game economy feel damaged and unfair to players who obtained their progress normally. Because of this, I am very satisfied with the recent enforcement actions, and it gives me more confidence that CIG is working toward a healthier and fairer Star Citizen environment. However, this situation also made me notice a possible risk in the current aUEC transfer system. At the moment, when a player receives an aUEC transfer, it seems that the recipient cannot clearly confirm the sender in advance, nor choose whether to accept or reject the transfer. This could potentially create an abuse scenario: a malicious player could use a low-cost account, exploit a bug to generate a large amount of aUEC, and then transfer it to a targeted player. As a result, an innocent player might be flagged as a suspicious beneficiary and could potentially face punishment or a ban. I understand that CIG needs to take abnormal money flows seriously. However, if the recipient has no choice or confirmation process before receiving the funds, malicious players may be able to abuse this system to frame others. Therefore, I would like to suggest adding a confirmation mechanism for aUEC transfers. For example: 1. When a transfer is initiated, the amount is temporarily frozen or reserved from the sender’s account. 2. The recipient receives a notification showing the sender’s username and the transfer amount. 3. The recipient can choose to accept or reject the transfer. 4. The aUEC is only delivered to the recipient after they confirm acceptance. 5. If the recipient does not accept within a limited time, such as 30 minutes, the transfer is automatically returned to the sender. This kind of system would help confirm whether the recipient intentionally accepted the funds, while also reducing the chance of malicious players abusing the transfer system to target innocent accounts. It could also give CIG clearer evidence when reviewing abnormal money movement. Finally, thank you to the CIG development team for your continued hard work on Star Citizen. This is a massive and complex game world, and I understand that maintaining the economy, fairness, and player experience is not an easy task. I also appreciate that CIG continues to listen to community feedback and work toward improving the game environment.
