As a DCS world player who actually loves simulations. Starcitizen is a space Sim that you can forget about. When I look at the Polaris, where the main weapon is the torpedoes, but I have to go into close combat to take out the PDC, everyone who knows even a little bit about tactics laughs. That would be the same if I showed up in a submarine with small guns, disabled the enemy ship, dived and sent out a torpedo. That doesn't make any sense at all. What I've never seen before is a gunboat 100m long that is more heavily armed than a ship 166m long. If I were in the US Navy and a manufacturer presented me with this concept, I would laugh at them. The developer doesn't have to provide action in the game, it's up to the player. The MFD can be switched through but not anymore, so they are useless as long as I can only interact with them with a press om the f button and the mouse. A possibility that the ship can only be controlled by a Hotas is completely missing. When I put the ship into Vtol mode I expect the ship to behave like a helicopter. That means: When I push the nose down, the ship has to move forward and not stand in place and not going down. This is called ground effect. The radar is useless because it can only lock on to one target. A radar in the TWS can detect multiple targets and is more appropriate in this setting than firing up to 4 missiles at one target. Where the rockets generally do little damage. What I want from Starcitizen and CIG is more realism, much more realism, especially when it comes to the flight system.
