@Silvan-CIG With the implementation of Gen 12 and Vulkan will chiplet CPU's like AMD's Ryzen 9 series (12 core & 16 core CPUs with 2 chiplets) see the render thread workload spread over cores on both chiplets? I am planning an upgrade upon the release of Zen 4 X3D next year and hope to hang on to my system for five years or so and don't want to waste money on a 16 core CPU if an 8 core will function the same.
