Hi, An idea spawned on the #fr chat today. We'd like to create an event for 3.0 update, a race on a moon with terrestrial vehicles, like Greycat and Dragonfly. Some CIG help should be welcome as this can be a very fun event, and may add a lot of fun in the verse. Let's go for the questions ! Will the instances still be limited to 24 players in 3.0? Is it possible to create a dedicated instance for the event, to avoid consuming slots for other players in the verse not participating to the event ? Are you able to add some race mechanics found in Arena Commander to the PU, like adding some checkpoint gates semi-buried ? This would ease a lot the race as this will avoid mistakes if we could only do the checkpoints with people looking at racers pass thru defined spots. 3b. Another "dev-time consuming" option: can you make this event like a race in Arena Commander? Set this area as "no-weapon zone" to avoid issues with fire mistakes... Is it possible to add some fixed "virtual cams" to make a good Twitch broadcasting of the event? Is it possible to add a "jukebox" on the area to play a specific tune for the race (similar to BigBenny vending machines hacked in Yela area)? Is there a possibility to have some virtual goods reward for this event, like a few aUEC for the winners of the race? Some more questions could come later after thinking of this event!
