With the recent removal of the purchased UEC cap, there has been much discussion about CIGs funding model. There were even 2 questions on the RTV thread about funding which were both rejected with a reason stated that because no changes are planned in the near future, there is nothing to discuss and RTV is not the place to discuss post release topics. While the UEC cap change is clearly the reason for the sudden interest in this topic, the implications of this change on the direction CIG is takeing with their funding model is what a lot of people have questions about. How can we properly word a question about the funding changes which occured in the recent past and how they fit into the overall plan without violating guideline 7 (no post release questions).
