In an MMO RPG, you expect a Max Level character to statistically be unkillable for a Level 1 character, and a Level 1 character to die in one shot to the Max Level Character. The fight is over before it starts because of math. Skill does not factor into the equation. Star Citizen is not an RPG. So I'm curious about how much more powerful a Tier 5 Ship will be compared a Tier 1 Ship? Obviously Tier 5 should have an advantage, but is the goal for that advantage to be 15% more powerful? 50% more powerful? 500% more powerful? I want to avoid the phrase "With enough skill the Tier 1 can still win," as it's imprecise and nebulous. Math exists. Use it. I want to gauge more where things are going to end up in terms of stats? What is the "math" goal here? We want Tier 5 ships to be worth pursuing, but fights lost "over math" doesn't feel in line with many players pvp goals. Edit: Yes I'm bumping this question. It's a very important one.
