Just read the Q&A on the Paladin, and it screamed "if you bought the Redeemer because you liked what we sold it to you as, you should totally just buy a Paladin now!" If you tell me you honestly can't see how that looks.... suspicious, then I say you are not being honest with yourself. Especially since the Paladin is currently just slightly less than what we bought our Deemers for - thereby preventing upgrade. If you want to make this design decision change in good faith... and NOT have it just be a bait-and-switch... the solution is really simple: let Redeemer owners CCU to the Paladin. Then hey, we get it, you had this new ship coming in and it was duplicating the role of an existing ship and the more you looked at it the more it seems like the Deemer should be an agile flyswatter. (Which it isn't yet, still, btw - you didn't change its role, you removed it. It now can't do anything at all except get you killed.) I'd believe that and I think a lot of other people would too. But the way this was done is just, as the kids say, sus. So fix it.
