I'm leveling up my Hurston Security rep. Because bunker missions are kind of broken right now, I'm only doing the Guard Facility missions, where the NPCs spawn out of elevators. Those work reliably. I'm doing these solo for the most part, but the rep gain is PAINFULLY SLOW. I've been recording the rep gains on my last few missions, and the progress is showing it will take 83 solo missions to reach the next rank. That means, if I'm doing them with a partner, we have to do 160+ missions to get from Rank 3 to 4 (my understanding is the rep is split among those in Party)? And, if I have a group of 3 or more, we literally have to do several hundred of these missions to move up one rank? Is this the intended user experience? Am I misunderstanding something with the system? Is rep bugged? I'm toward the end of this rank - but I was actually Rank 4 before 3.21.1. I had already unlocked the "Serious Threat" versions of these. But, in this patch, I seem to have lost a little bit of rep, or the thresholds changed, and it's taking me forever to just get back up this little bit to Rank 4. Just wondering if this is all intended or not? Edit: Back of napkin math, let's say you can knock these missions out in 10 minutes. CIG should want it to be longer than this, but lets say 3 minutes to prep, get the mission, and travel to location. 3 minutes to kill each wave. And then the built in timers before waves, 1 minute each. So, that's 9 minutes, rounded up to 10. 83x10 = 830 minutes! That's over 13 hours of gameplay, to move up one rank. And this is being very generous with the time estimations. If you are doing these with a friend, you are looking at 26+ hours?! I know these numbers aren't super accurate, but unless I'm missing something, it just seems like WAY too much of a grind right now to move up one rank. Maybe the experience bars aren't as linear as I'm assuming they are?
