I'm curious how many servers are generated by the hardware that you guys deploy. The reason I say this is because if each server only can hold 50 players MAX before CURRENT resources diminish performance. When you guys add more(just within the Stanton system) locations, and objects. The free space available through performance balancing efforts will spike more and more. Yes, you can balance it even further for the new things but if we're already experiencing performance issues with what we have now in-game in comparison to what is planned to be added.....well it generates the question....... How many servers will have to mesh, in order to maintain decent performance? Given let's say a 2,000 to 5,000 player count. And all the new location, objects, characters, and features still to be added. Obviously these won't be added until server meshing BUT again...how many servers would have to mesh to accomplish that goal. I originally thought OCS was supposed to supplement meshing to accommodate for this but....OCS is already in game and it doesn't seem to help much considering you guys weren't able to increase the player cap AT ALL. Not even by 5 players. So yea...just seeking alittle further understanding into the mindset of the goal. Do we have enough servers to mesh what would be needed? Regards, Oreginal [Edit: I was informed they use AWS instead of hardware. Thanks guys!! ...the question still remains though. This information does not change the question]
