In "Squadron 42: Interview with John Rhys-Davies" he mentioned that CIG is developing tech that will be useful in medical and education fields. Dr. Tyson is wanting to make a game called Space Odyssey that focuses on realistic physics with the aim to educate the player base while exploring the game. (update) Now that Space Odyssey has gained funding if things don't work out for Space Odyssey and Dr. Tyson is amiable, will CIG consider working with Dr. Tyson, if the opportunity arises? If so, will CIG integrate more real subject matter into SC game play mechanics/story lines to help teach elementary subjects while we have fun playing? Maybe one day some organizations dedicated to the fine arts of fun higher learning can arise within the game (names I like are: Stellar Nursery, Periodic Tableau, or Grimoire of Cosmological Constants). I think it would be awesome to use something people are enthusiastic about and have fun with, as a educational platform.
