For historical reference, see the following two older discussions that were closed for their age by @Kalypso-CIG. https://robertsspaceindustries.com/spectrum/community/SC/forum/61894/thread/crimestat-level-1-should-be-able-to-be-paid-off-on https://robertsspaceindustries.com/spectrum/community/SC/forum/3/thread/how-do-i-pay-my-cs1-fine Some time ago, CIG had decided that fines should be a CS1 that you can pay off. It is a fine, but it is also a CS1. Paying off the fine at Grim Hex clears the CS. The problem is, there are justice terminals at every city and station, but only Grim Hex lets you land or even enter there space so you can go in and pay off your fine. To get there, if you don't have enough fuel, you have to die. This is just wrong. Justice terminals were planted everywhere so they can be used. CS1 is not supposed to be used for offenses that justify security and turrets trying to kill you on the spot. Security patrols used to scan you, see that you have a fine, and advise you to go pay it off promptly. Right now, as soon as you get the fine, you have a CS1 and cannot just fly up to a station. I tried contributing to a couple of IC tickets on this. STARC-39102 was archived with a lot of people saying its a feedback request. STARC-44325 pertains to not being allowed to land to pay your fines and was also archived with only 2 contributions. If it is a feature request, then I "Ask the Devs" why on earth are there justice terminals in places we can't legally go to use them? If this is a bug, then I "ask the Devs" why they keep allowing this bug to go uninvestigated and with no feedback for the other contributors who say this is not a bug. Also, New Babbage doesn't have any justice terminals. Was there a specific logic to this?
