Currently in the game when we suffer some kind of damage, the life of our characters is damaged indefinitely. Why don't we have passive life regeneration? Since the game is driven by immersion and realism (to a certain extent), the human body progressively healing wounds is something normal. With this I do not mean a fast regeneration like CoDs or similar shooters. It would be something like 1% of life every 5 minutes. Injuries would affect this, so if we have a T3 it would be 1% every 10min, T2 1% every 15min and a T1 1% every 30min. This passive regeneration could also make food and drink more useful, giving us temporary health regeneration boosts. It could also affect character comfort like in other games, so that we have some reason to wear comfortable clothes instead of the Underswit and all the armor constantly. All of this wouldn't have a huge impact in the current game, due to the MedPens' ability to fully heal us in one action and their easy and cheap access. But in the future that should change so that medical gameplay can have more depth.
