After the expo that hangar space could be used to always display exhibitions, ranging from concept art for new and old ships and areas to scale models of in-development versions. Exhibitions could change and also teach us abour lore, flora and fauna and about the different regions of a galaxy. In fact, I think these museums could be part of gameplay loops aswell and would give a place more history and weight to it.
