Hello CIG Team! Let's talk about the Eclipse. I've noticed that you been showing some love to some of the older ships in the game recently. The Valkyrie and the Caterpillar just to name a few. The Aegis Eclipse used to be a fan favorite of the verse, The Eclipse was stealthy bird, and its torpedo's hit. I am messaging you today to ask if the Eclipse will be touched in the near future? My question to the CIG team is if and what will you change about the ship? Currently the eclipse just cant hold its own or be used in the gameplay roll it was intended for in 4.0+ The Eclipse is supposed to be a tag in tag out stealth bomber, but due to its high emissions, it is spotted before it can even really do any real damage. After running some test's me and my Organization mates learned that the torpedoes are noticeable at around 7km out which gives the defender to much time to defend themselves. also the targeted ship will notify you if target locked as well. I have some minimal suggestions/ideas to help make the ship viable again that wont completely break the ship. 1 - Make the torpedoes have their own level of stealth, the torpedoes signature are far to high. 2 - Have the torpedoes fly a bit faster. 3 - Introduce a brand new torpedo that can be buyable in game or loot-able in the Contested Zones that has lower emissions for stealth gameplay. I do believe just some minor adjustments to the Eclipse will greatly bring it back into the light as a viable ship within the Verse. The ship itself doesn't need much adjusting since it already flies well for its size. I'd love to hear what Developers and the citizens of the verse will have to say about this thread, lets make the ship that won BIS 2020 Great again Big Bird out
