Ammo changes + Heat changes are awesome. I do feel more can be expanded, such as more EM/IR added for energy weapons etc. However, Sledges were OP last week, now again useless - and probaly for more years to come unless you do something now. Why are sledges lower range then scatterguns, lower dps then other conventional weapons, and poor ammo count and more? I suggest all values of weapons, components,, ship stats are spreadsheeted for poor data entry and do BASIC ANALYSIS for changes. Also understanding what the weapons/ships/comps are to be... a rail gun IRL fires extremely fast and adds LARGE range to such objects IRL for example. Here are Examples: Connie Aquila exploer has less hyrdrogen fuel then a C8 snub ship? F8C a superioutry fighter turns worse then a connie? Hornet Ghost stealther then a Eclipse, Sabre, and Prowler dedicated stealth ships. I can go on and on with this list on all kinds of mishap entries, there are dozens if not hundreds of oversights. Can we try: Sledges - 1. High speed and long range, bump out range to 3.5-4KM or so. 2. bump ammo to 150 3. Add charge/high heat per shot 4. Increase DPS to a more fair level, but shouldn't be top or nerfed as worse (currently). The range will allow choices and initial attacks to make up for it. 5. S2's S1's lower in scale much like other weapons. Note: Tachyons could be similiar, but perhaps higher Rate of fire, slightly lower range, and more heat buildup.
