The ARGO MPUV commonly referred to as the Argo-C and Argo-P is supposed to be a Multi Purpose Utility Vehicle. However at present it is not multi purpose, and is an unarmed snub without even the ability to act as a taxi because it has no Quantum drive. In Jump Point Magazine Vol 2 No.3 pp 80-82 art work and description indicates the MPUV would have an articulated arm and suggested this would be able to be used for repair among other things. It was also suggested other pods would be available for the rear, (we know for instance that the 890J 8 person life raft is essentially the same one that is in the Javelin and also attached to the MPUV-P., so does this mean the MPUV Could have a Luxury pod?) Will the MPUV be made to be truly multipurpose or has this idea been brushed away. It seems the Argo with a cutting tool would be an ideal "cutter" for the Reclaimer, whilst the repair ability would be ideal for any large ship with the storage for it. Similarly the MPUV with claw would also be a suitable Utility ship for the Orion. The MPUV seems to be a small ship that has so much potential to be a great support ship and be truly Multipurpose. Are there plans for this little unsung workhorse (in order to give it versatility in keeping with it's price)? Or is the MPUV destined to remain a P-V and C-P, having lost the Multi Purpose Utility function?
