With the upcoming release of the Banu Defender some discussions about the Merchantman's current loaner broke out. And as it seems there's some frustration about it. Most of us made the clear decision to buy a ship with a large cargo hold, dedicated for trading and therefore making profit. But as of now, we're stuck with the Starfarer what is ,taking the current state of the game into account, a sub optimal choice and not a good substitute for the BMM. Regarding trading, at least a part of the community thinks, the best choice would be the Drake Caterpillar because of its cargo hold and self defense capabilities. Considering the Banu's unique design language some people would also prefer the Defender, as it's visually and technically the closest you can get to its bigger brother. In some discussions the idea rose that the F7C Hornet loaner, could be replaced by the Defender for Merchantman owners for the reason just mentioned and the "main" loaner become the Caterpillar. So to come to an end and the final proposal: Can we do a voting on the current BMM's loaner situation and decide as a community, together with you developers, on changes we can make to improve said situation? #If anyone of you supports the idea for a voting, I would kindly ask you to leave a comment below.
