Just watching the Drake Happy Hour which was much fun and some great future ships in there. What strikes me tho, is that the open topped salvage ship discussed, the 'Vulture', sounds exactly what the Reclaimers 'Manned Cutter' snub is intended to be? From the reclaimer Concept: "Additionally, it includes a manned cutter which may be deployed for EVA/recovery operations. We intend the game’s salvage mechanic to include a ‘search and recovery’ function in which players will exit their spacecraft in suits and maneuvering units to explore wreckage. Pocket spacecraft like the cutter will carry tools and supplies and transport recovered artifacts back aboard ship." Can we get an update or at least confirmation on the inclusion or exclusion of the 'Cutter' please? If the Cutters been...cut...from the Reclaimers lineup, how will Reclaimer crews recover components from wrecks? The Reclaimer is an amazing ship from what we've seen, the art team has done an incredible job! Yet without the Cutter, the concept sold is severely diminished not in power, but in the overall experience. For me at least, and I read its true for many others, the exploration of wrecks and recovery of components and potential artifacts are key to the experience the Reclaimer offers. So without the Cutter, we'll be moving large components...by hand? by EVA all the way to the cargo hold at the rear of the 100m+ Reclaimer? If the Cutter 'feature set' is removed from the pledge, it will hugely impact Reclaimer Salvage gameplay by necessarily making it a distant and less involving experience -if the need to get up close, consider explosive and other threats, remove those components prior to grinding with the Claw, all the while hoping to find some lost tech or artifact buried in the twisted wreck...has been removed...exactly how involving and engaging can salvaging with the Reclaimer be? If the Cutter were removed due to some technical issue, that could be understood, but to be absent, and the feature sold as part of a separate ship, after we've already pledged for it...thats something else entirely.
