In 2017 I bought into the game based solely on the career of exploration. Over those years I now own most of the exploration ships, however, exploration is never a subject or focus of CIG. Will I ever be able to explore and find minable deposits that I can then share with the Org, or something my daughter (SC Member) and I can tag and retrieve (long ago talk of launching a probe as I recall)? TonyZ once talked about discovering deposits and dropping markers, maybe even selling them on the open market. Today, lots of focus on emerging shoot-em-up gameplay events, PVP/PVE instancing, etc., but I bought in for the career possibilities of exploration promised way long ago. To be honest, I'm 75 and know exploration is apparently a low priority (as no mention again at CitizenCon). I'm still an avid current filer with folks in the Org, hauling, mining and salvage, but looking for the exploration experience I came here for. Life is getting short (in my case LOL). Honestly, a marker with a persistent (yet decaying as described by maybe TonyZ years ago) location would make this possible (ok yeah I don't understand the implications of all this). Any updates would be appreciated. Thank you.
