Dear Chris Smith I can only hope someone at CIG passes this along to you. I only want to ask you one question: Are you going to one day totally rebuild the 300 series from the ground up, in effect, build it out totally from scratch, using only the existing model as a style guide? I am not talking about a tweak here and there to the existing model, I mean "from the ground up" rebuild. Why do I ask you this? Well, the existing model simply isn't fit for purpose anymore. It was designed some years back when Star Citizen itself was a much smaller game in scope. It needs to radically change from were it is rolewise right now, which is simply the role of fodder for Hornets and Sabres. It needs to be much better than this and this thread is my appeal to you to right the wrongs of this much loved ship of mine. So I can only hope you will see it and reply. I am not asking for any time lines or ETAs, just a sense of what you, as a creator of fine ships that you are, want to do with this ship. Do you have a vision of where you want to go with it's design? Ok, that's two questions but I think you can see what I am getting at. I have a Connie, and although it presently has the handling characteristics of a house brick, I simply love what you did with the interior. Its most certainly moving in the right direction and can easily picture myself spending many happy hours in it, basically I am trying to say I really like your work (and Josh's too for that matter: can't wait to see the new Cutlass he is working on) and hope you can turn your talents one day to this most ignored ship in Star Citizen's line up, the 300 series. This ship did alot to get Star Citizen funded, I know this because I was there right from the beginning. In every way it is as much a hero ship as the Hornet is, perhaps the hero ship of the civilian fighter class craft. It deserves better, it deserves to be better and I hope one day, with your input it will. As I said I hope this reaches you at some point as I feel your my best hope to give me that Sleek Silver Killer it was always supposed to be. Thanks for reading this. EDIT: As well as the additional videos below, here is a link to the 300 Series brochure too to serve as a reminder to us all what the 300 series was supposed to be.. https://robertsspaceindustries.com/media/0iplijfsgmlb8r/source/300series_brochure-1.pdf
