For quite some time now, and especially during the freefly events, Pad Ramming has become a real Major Problem! I know the development team is extremely busy concentrating on new content, but ...... this irresponsible criminal act is getting way out of hand! I've already lost several friends who have left the game untill this issue is resolved. PLS ... PLS ... PLS look into this problem especially around Port Olisar and Grim Hex. This issue becomes even worse since most of these idiots are not even flagged by the system as RED (Enemy). I know that this is probably not an easy fix, but here are a few ideas. I'm assuming the system can detect when a Pad or Station has been rammed by a Player, this may be a bad assumption. If it is possible, how about increasing the crime stat penalty to the highest level after the 1st occurrence within a 24hr period? Maybe the system can correlate the death of both players (Idiot & Target) at close to the same time, at the same location, on the same server. Than institute the punishment on the perpetrator. Another possible method would be to monitor Global Chat for key words which would connect the Player to the act of Pad Ramming. Statements such as "Port Oliser or Grim Hex is Now close", or maybe players that are bragging about commiting the crime, happens all the time. Or simply appoint some authorized personnel / trusted players to randomly monitor a few locations & servers looking for these low life scum! Once identified by that trusted individual the appropriate action can be taken by those with the authority to take such actions. I'm not a Professional Developer but i'm fairly confident that you have other ways of singling out these LOW LIFES, all that is really needed is that the appropriate priority be placed on this issue! I really enjoy this game immenstly, but this type of destructive play style ruins the experience for all involved. I still have a great deal of deficulty understanding what these Pad Rammers are getting out of this action since no one wins or benefits! By allowing this kind of childish & irresponsible game play to continue the development team is seriously negatively impacting the Citizens love of the GAME!!!!! Thank You For The Consideration!
