Hello @CIG_ChadMcKinney Hopefully you are still the right dev to ask this to, Persistence as we have it right now in 3.8 live (and 3.9 evocati build) is great, particularly how logging out and back in to the game via ship beds. Are you able to let us log back in to another persons ship, even if they are not logged in yet? This would achieve a few things, namely: Crew members would have a more consistent and immersive experience Giving another reason to steal ships Consistency within the universe rules Sure seeing as you don't own the ship it has a limited functionality, you can't open certain doors unless the whole ship is unlocked, you can't buy sell cargo etc but that I think is all fine at this stage. Crew members would have a more consistent and immersive experience Particularly for larger ships like the 890j and Carrack, often a crew is established and setup for the play session. Currently if everyone logs out in a bed, they have to wait for the owner of the ship to log in first (to spawn the ship on the server) then subsequent crew can log in to the beds. What if the owner is away? or the crew is large and has disparate schedules? How cool would it be to login and have the ship at a completely different location due to crew members carrying on missions between times? very cool. Giving another reason to steal ships Currently stealing ships is a short term pursuit. There is no potential for "pirate fleets" or acquiring vessels through conquest (or legitimate salvage) It takes very much effort for a very short term result, which is disappointing. At some point we will be able to sell or scrap stolen vessels for UEC, and even further down the line legitimize ill gotten goods by some in game means (at least CR explained as much many years ago) Consistency within the universe rules It is inconsistent for a ship that I own to reappear in the middle of space when I login but not a ship I don't own. Even that sentence is difficult to grapple with. There should be consistent behaviors in a sandbox like SC, imho. Also, I assume this is the plan long term anyway, we can't really have 27 crew waiting for the owner of the Idris to get home from work before they can start off  Thanks for taking the time to read this, FractaI
