With the announcement that the Mercury Star Runner and physicalized controls, have you thought to add controls to pressurize and depressurize ship interiors? What about automatic protocols to seal and lock room where a fire breaks out? Automatic and manual firefighting equipment, etc? These are all going to be important things based on your stated intentions. Most ships should be able to be depressurize if needed. For instance, if I am in a Connie and know ahead of time am going into combat, I am probably going to depressurize my ship. If I am running sensitive cargo, I might want to ensure all compartments return to full pressure after securing the cargo bay. Have you put as much time into figuring out how to fight fires as well as make them propagate? For instance, it isn’t just a matter of throwing water on it like you would in an apartment building. It might involve chemicals like Halon, pre-positioned gas and chemical fire extinguishers in critical areas (like the engineering section), or being able to open doors remotely (if they work) to vent a specific path to space. finally, consider having breathing apparatuses as gear available so that if they get caught in a fire, they can press H or similar (whatever their helmet keybind is) to get a breathing mask on. It would not protect them from explosive decompression, but it would against smoke, poisons, etc,
