Writing this thread as I feel a lot of us would like to hear the thought(s) behind why item quality is not included within LTP. While in some cases I can understand why, others I cannot. LTP patches often times would include gear, components, ships, etc. If components and gear, which can now be crafted, are included - why isn't the quality of those items saved between patches as well? For example, we're in 4.8.0. Many players are likely out mining and crafting ship components, FPS weapons, armor, etc. in preparation for the upcoming Xenothreat event. Completely unknown to the idea that everything they have made this patch is could be reverted to base quality. Just to reiterate, I understand full wipes, I'm referring to 4.X.X -> 4.X.X LTP patches, not full wipes patches like 4.7 -> 4.8 had. The archived IC report. Not sure which developer this would even go to, but a reply would really be appreciated. Thanks!
