Is it common in the SC universe for people to swap their physical sex? What I've understood about the way DoaS and cloning are supposed to work seems to suggest that this would be pretty trivial to do - is it? Is it common? Senator so and so decides they want to be a woman, so... they just become one? Or is that maybe a problem when it comes to legal issues - how is identity legally established? If you have a tailored clone with DNA that's not identical to your own, how is it established that when you inhabit that clone that you're legally the same person? Or another way of putting it might be, in the SC universe, how closely linked is biology to identity?
