Hey CIG, I wanted to bring up something that’s been bothering me for a little while now—small ships being able to ram capital-class vessels with little effort and absurdly high effectiveness. Right now, any time a capital ship is spotted, it’s almost a guarantee that someone will just throw their light fighter or small craft at it like a guided missile. It makes for terrible gameplay, removing any need for proper fleet tactics or actual battles. I get that ramming should cause some damage, but right now, it’s way too easy for small ships to cripple or outright destroy much larger vessels. Given how much time, effort, and coordination it takes to field a capital, it feels completely unfair that a solo player can just throw themselves at it and negate all of that in seconds. Are there any plans to adjust how ramming is handled? Maybe reducing the damage small ships do to large hulls or implementing a proper collision system that makes it less rewarding to kamikaze? I’d love to hear if this is on the radar, because as it stands, it’s really taking the fun out of capital ship engagements. Looking forward to any updates or thoughts from the team!
