Hello CIG Recently in September, you removed armistice zones from multiple orbital stations and rest stops (excluding Port Olisar). This has since proven to be an excellent change in favor of greater 'world' engagement, player immersion, and freedom of choice. From one perspective; it makes the experience of landing your ship (potentially full of cargo or otherwise material) safely an exciting experience, especially when you QT to the station and see red flagged ships flying about. From another perspective; it enables those of a criminal mindset a way to cause chaos at great risk to themselves, requiring them to continually dodge a barrage of firepower from the stations (which look beautiful) and negotiating survival against multiple security AI ships at the same time. This is engagement with the PU at it's finest (for all players), in my opinion. My question here is, what steps or blockers are in front of us for expanding this change into disabling armistice zones at planetary outpost landing zones such as HDMS-Lathan or Shubin Mining Facility SCD-1? These stations obviously need some form of defense, such as turrets. Is this planned? Ideally and eventually these stations may also have periodic spawns of security forces in the form ground (Ballistas, Tonks, Cyclone AA/MT/TR) and air (similar to those in space). I know there was some discussion at some point recently about getting the AI to properly navigate surface areas and features (such as rocks/mountains), how is this progressing? And is this really needed to at least add some turrets to these zones for the time being? Thank you!
