So, last ISC I loved the improvements to the river system. It got me thinking about how one would model real world rivers, and what all variables would go into them. It also struck me that the rivers we saw in the clip all seem to be constant width. So I have a few questions for the River Gods (Will Hain, sorry, I don't know your spectrum tag :slightly_smiling_face: :disappointed: 1) Will river width be variable in future (or current) revisions to make them look even more organic? 2) Have you guys talked to geophysicists or geologists to try to identify how rivers are made in nature and then use those principles to inform design or even procedurally generate them? 3) Are there any plans or thoughts about how features like rocky rapids and slow wide sections could be implemented? 4) How feasible is procedural generation given the current version of planet tech?
