Some ships seem to fly much better than others while in atmosphere. Specifically the left/right movement while flying at speed. For a ship like the RSI aurora I would expect its atmo flight to not be as good as a ship that has wings. Thus when in atmo at speed turning left or right the response staggering back and forth like a drunken sailor is expected. However other ships like say an Avenger Titan or a 125a also do this. It is especially noticeable on the titan. I also tried this in a 350R and when its at speed in atmo it actually turns left or right without as much drunken wobble. I suppose my question is with that left/right wobble when flying in atmosphere. What is the expectation with this flight characteristic? Is it something more for winged ships vs non or more for arch-type ships meaning all starter ships will have it regardless of wings or not but things like say racing ships will not. Or is the wobble of turning left and right in atmo something that will eventually be tuned out of all flight characteristics of ships? It just seems off that the Titan which has wings does the same drunken wobble when trying to turn left or right in atmo that the wingless brick of an aurora does. I am sure the flight characteristics are one of the things that will be tuned with time and be a ship by ship thing so I was just wondering what the general plan was.
