One of the most upvoted questions in the Q&A was: "It was said that newer ships would come out with the ability to be named but, that wasn't the case. What technical difficulty made the newest ships unable to be named?". However, this question was skipped, with many below it getting answered As there is clearly a desire to know the answer, i pose the question here: what's happening with ship naming? Is there a technical hurdle? Are CIG looking to perhaps change the way they want to approach ship naming?
