Thanks for the surprise glimpse at the cargo in 3.0. It's greatly appreciated. You can do that as often as you want. I have a question though, not a complaint, not a criticism, just a question. I'm just interested in knowing the details. (I can supply screenshots of all these statements, but I just brought the one.) They ordered one unit of Aluminum. It shows up in the cargo manifest as: 1/100units 1SCU So it's a 1SCU box, with only 1 unit in it. So good so far. Then they went to Yela and got a box of Chlorine. When they set this box down next to the Aluminum it was basically the same size. Here is a screenshot of them carrying it back to the ship: That's where we get the problem. That box is too small. According to the Manifest, that box is 1SCU. That means it's supposed to be 1.25m cubed. Either this guy is 3 meters tall, or this is actually a .5 or .75 SCU box. Other information: It was mentioned a while ago during an animation discussion that the biggest box you'd be able to pick up by hand is .75 SCU. Then, the recent ShipShape cargo article said that the smallest cargo container is 1SCU. (I figure the .75SCU boxes just don't count as cargo containers.) Anyway, just wondering which information we should expect as the final design. Is the manifest correct that this is a 1SCU box..but they are smaller than described and able to be lifted by a player? Or, was a .75 SCU box spawned rather than the 1SCU box that the manifest expected. (Or finally... Is the manifest taking about the 'used up' space in the Cargo Hold rather than the size of the box? So even though it's a .75 SCU box, it uses up the space of a full 1SCU on the cargo grid. (Not to mention everything that could have been stacked on top, but can't now.) ) Thanks!
