There are a few ships with some extremely overbearing lighting in the cockpit and/or flight deck which can make it difficult to see outside in night environmental conditions. Some examples; * The 400i, * Constellation Series * Terrapin * Freelancer Series Since we currently have the ability to switch lighting status inside ships between damage state, aux and main, could we perhaps consider the idea of putting a 'Night Mode' button in the cockpit that darkens all lights save for the dashboard and buttons and make it much easier to see out in lower lighting conditions. This is commonly a feature in airline cockpits, as lower light makes the natural atmospheric light more illuminated causing clearer visibility of the night sky. Plus it doesn't strain the eyes trying to stare out into the night with a bright interior light overpowering the view
