Hello ! Thank for all the job you've done and you continue doing for balancing the master modes ! It really feels good in combat. However, I'm sure I am not alone in the community to have serious concern about the flight model and how precisely it will work, how much we will in the future influence it. In particular the way the thrusters work, and how will we tune them. If the thrust is limited by energy, can we allocate more energy to thrusters in flight to get more Gs ? The same kind of question for the tuning part : Are the previously mentionned engineering part of the game like exchanging fixed thruster for gimbal thrusters false expactations ? Change the parameters of the avionics (priority to rotation or translation in the thruster control) ? The problem is that I understand the changes you are doing for a balance point of view, but I fear the future of Star Citizen for the simulation aspect of it. I understand it, and that's why I'm asking for more information in order to not build expectation that is no more true, or maybe have never been true btw... I think it would be better, whatever the answer, to be clear as early as possible, not relying on the ambiguity between past's announces and today's direction (some other game had experience that, and the backlash was hard). I really like Star Citizen, and whatever the answer, that won't change, whatever the answer, that's better than everyone building false expactations. Or maybe that's just not a thing for Squadron 42 (we will be a fighter not an engineer), and therefore you didn't take that aspect in consideration for now ? If that's simply a debate that's not closed internally, maybe at least having the current iteration of master mode and flight model like a basic documentation, internal work document, more precise than the test version we have. Like you've done with IFCS back in the days, that way we will be less confused. Thank you for the work you do to create that game, the dream is getting more and more real :wink:
