Hello, CIG Developers. Well, I should maybe say hello to Star Citizen backers because only they will reply to my question to a CIG dev. Since the backers seem to be developing the game, please tell me why, with all the cargo refactors and releasing a dedicated cargo ship, I still can't collect cargo with the Hull C at a refinery. Yes, some of you will say you can't sell most of the cargo the Hull C collects on the planet side, and only a few stations buy cargo from the Hull C. With that, I say, why not still allow it? I thought it was about players' choices and how they would like to do things in the Star Citizen Universe. I do a lot of mining, and one of the things I have been looking forward to is mining the least valuable ores, such as Iron, and selling them to stations I know are willing to buy them. You can use another cargo ship to move the iron cargo, but I own a Hull C and would like to use it to move mass amounts of cargo from one place to another. Not being able to do so is just worrying. I feel like I bought something that's 100% useless to me because it does not do what I bought it for. As a player who is a dedicated miner in Star Citizen, I don't enjoy cargo running, so making several cargo runs to sell the things I mine is not fun for me. It takes me away from the things I enjoy the most. It also makes it hard to understand how mining the other low-trie ores will work since most players don't mine them. Not many want to spend hours mining low-value ores only to move them in low amounts to a station to sell them. CIG is missing a considerable opportunity to see how large quantities of ore are mined and how larger cargo ships move such ores to sell them. Maybe I'm wrong about this, but I will never know because most of the question I post to a Dev is never answered, so I guess this is just for me to ask why to a stone wall. They need to add another topic thread called Ask a Stone Wall.
