Currently, when players share a mission in a party, the reward is divided among participants—even if all are actively contributing. This makes group play, especially crewing larger ships or running org events, less profitable per player than doing the same missions solo. As a result, players naturally gravitate toward soloing missions—leading to gameplay issues like large cargo ships being solo-loaded at small outposts, causing bottlenecks, long queues, and frustration for everyone. Given that Star Citizen is positioned as an MMO with multicrew ships and org-focused systems, are there any plans to adjust the mission reward structure to better incentivize cooperative play (e.g., flat rewards per contributing player or scaling rewards with group effort)? If not, could you share the current design reasoning behind keeping a system that disincentivizes group play and creates these logistical side effects?
