Dear CIG, After "Game Settings" --> "Emissions HUD - Display Signature Values" set to "Yes", then on the top of a ship's HUD, the IR, CS and EM values are displayed as two sets of numbers, for example, for IR, 5689/4612 (refer my screenshot below) I understand the 5689 is the IR reading, unmodified by the environment. But what does the 4612 mean? Is it the IR reading, after modifications due to the environment? Or is it the amount of IR emissions the environment is blocking, ie in that environment, the modified IR reading is 5689 - 4612 = 1077? Or what? The emission values displayed in the Emissions HUD, have the emission reduction factors (for example, the Talon's -30%) already been applied? Some icons turn green if you stay longer in asteroids fields (refer comment from H2-SO4 below) --- what does turning green mean please? This is relevant to helping choose what missiles to equip our ships with.
