In the Letter from the Chairman we have a 2023 Q4 prediction for static server meshing. What is this prediction accounting for? Does it assume the work goes forward with minimal hiccups? Does it assume the work goes forward with substantial issues that need to be worked on (e.g. what we've seen with PES)? I'm guessing it doesn't assume something will happen that will require a total re-concepting of server meshing (like what happened with icache). I know asking how long a program will take to complete is like asking "how long is a piece of string", but I'm trying to manage my expectations here. Like if you said the prediction assumes minimal hiccups, I wouldn't be particularly disheartened if Q4 rolls around and it's not quite there. I would just assume that is the earliest possible date it would show up.
