I might be alone in this, but for me, ship commercials were a massive interest and morale booster that helped you visualize what this game could be and how each of these new ships could be used or make you feel when using them. It was also something that quickly hooked non-backers into the game as they got the see the detail and wow-factor of ships without needing to install the game. Where did these go? It feels like CIG has abandoned making them almost entirely. In the past year all we got was the 40 second scorpius clip and an "ASMR" video for the Corsair... both of those ships deserved better commercials. I think everyone also likes the "in-lore commercial" setup that used to exist, but CIG also seems to have abandoned that? It was so immersive hearing about the new ships as if it was being sold to you on TV. Now we just see a clip of it sitting there spinning or some ASMR of each room... Hoping a CIG employee who works in video creation could comment on this, let us know if commercials will ramp up again at any point, and if not; pass on the message that we really want ship commercials to come back properly.
