I am working on a documentary about Star Citizen on the Zorch Central channel on YouTube which addresses the criticisms of Star Citizen as well as the accusations in the infamous Forbes article. We're building a timeline of events, milestones in the development of Star Citizen in order to paint a more accurate picture of how things occurred. Between 2014 and 2015 a significant paradigm shift took place and a major change in the course of the game's development occurred. BoredGamer mentioned in a video that a vote among the player community took place which determined the direction Star Citizen would take, but we haven't been able to pin down when this happened or even if that vote determined the current course of the game. When was the decision made to go 64-bit in CryEngine? If this decision was taken to the community for a vote when did this take place? Our aim with the documentary is to construct an accurate timeline, a chain of events that lead us from 1.0 to 3.7.x. The documentary will show that the most common arguments against Star Citizen are incorrect (without pointing fingers and being judgemental) and then present the facts to set the record straight. What information we have so far debunks the Forbes article, but the community vote or what happened that caused this paradigm shift is a vital piece of the puzzle we still haven't been able to find. Can you help us? Thank you.
