For a long while the driving physics for ground vehicles, especially tanks like the Nova or Ballista (Atlas platform), feel exceptionally terrible. They tend to slide around excessively, almost like they’re always on ice, even on flat terrain. This makes handling unpredictable and immersion-breaking, particularly during combat or exploration. Issue: Excessive sliding regardless of surface (e.g., no traction adjustment for dirt, rock, or pavement) etc. Even driving within a hangar they slide around and then even when sitting still they jitter and vibrate in place slowly sliding around the hangar floor. Will this get addressed at some point? The last ground physics update which was done a few years ago now.. honestly made driving feel far worse unfortunately. Hope we get more progress on ground vehicles and actual ground missions to properly make use of them. Thanks for your insights! o7
