cUEC CIG should create their own cypto called cUEC and integrate an exchange into the game. Since CIG is already designing the game for gold farmers to sell merits for real world money, CIG might as well profit off player-to-player real-money trading before someone else does it. Purpose cUEC would have zero in-game use other than being exchangeable for UEC at special financial terminals. It would not be found in-game. It would not be used to solve latency or otherwise directly provide any benefit for any feature. It would solely be an alternative income stream for CIG. Benefits Increased Income The nail in the coffin is that CIG already sells UEC chits for real-world money! The problem with this is that CIG pays ~3% in merchant fees. However, with cUEC, CIG would charge fees. This means that CIG would instantly increase their income from selling UEC by ~3%. Transaction fees from every transaction would be sent to CIG. The transaction fees would then be exchanged by CIG for other cryptocurrencies and then sold for fiat. Providing an alternative and perpetual income stream to pay for ongoing server costs. Anti-Gold Farmers cUEC's free market would always sell UEC for the lowest price which would undercut Gold Farmers. Gold farmers would receive no benefit from chat spamming. However, this might not occur due to the pay-wall. CIG customer service will not waste time and money telling players that got UEC rmt scammed that there is nothing they can do to help them. Gold Farmer websites would not sell UEC. Type of Cryptocurrency CIG could airdrop all of the initial coins to every player that has a paid account before launch and then let the free market do the rest. All transaction fees would be sent to CIG, profit without doing anything! It should be a Proof of Stake coin so that it would incentivize players to keep it, accumulate it, etc. No mining.
