I’ve been around the verse long enough to know when something feels off. And right now, it feels off. ERTs and Vaughn missions? Nerfed. Used to be worth it for high-value loot—drugs, commodities, something to move and sell. Now it’s just scrap: corundum, titanium, iron… junk with no purpose, no value, and no reason to pick it up. You call this loot? Let’s talk economy: Cargo missions don’t make sense. The mission payout is worth more than the cargo you're hauling. There’s no real economy yet, so why are we being funneled into specific roles that feel arbitrarily limited? Missiles, ammo, repairs, refueling—all cost money. That’s fine, if we’re making enough to offset that. But we’re not. We’re wasting time, resources, and effort for payouts that don’t scale with the risk or investment. That’s not gameplay, that’s a chore. Most fun I’ve had lately? Hunting down abandoned ships at bunkers, salvaging size 5 Attritions to outfit my Idris. That feels like purpose. But even then—try selling those weapons to vendors. You’ll be lucky to get pocket change. Pull out a Vulture, grind through salvage and parts, and the payout is so low it’s laughable. It’s not worth my time. Let’s be real: Players don’t mind putting in work, as long as the reward feels worth it. We’re not asking for time-sinks. We’re asking for meaningful loops. Give us efficiency, value, and a reason to do what we do. You want immersion? Make the economy feel real. You want engagement? Make the rewards feel earned. You want us to care? Let our time mean something. Right now, it doesn’t.
