As for immersion, that doesn't' make sense. Those airlock doors are open probably using strong motors since they're made of steel (or titanium) and must be very heavy. How shooting one of those doors would make it to open? I'm asking before, last night, while I was moving to the salvage processing deck in my Reclaimer, someone had shot one of those airlock and then shot me in the back, then destroyed my Reclaimer without taking anything. I know because I went back to the wreck. I know many here will say "well, that's piracy for you". I don't have a problem with piracy. If someone comes to attack me and want to take my cargo, then at least, I have a choice. I can comply or I can decide to fight, accepting the consequences. But, having someone abusing what appear to be a flaw in the game and shoot me in the back without taking anything is not piracy. There was this new feature about "Trespassing on ships". Maybe that feature would not be needed as much if doors would not open when shot at. So, what was the rationale to make the doors open when shot at?
