Hi, When I throw boxes or any object from my ship in uniform rectilinear motion, these objects end up at rest relative to the ship as soon as they leave the physical grid of the ship. Same goes for players who jump from a moving ship at constant speed. Same when a snub craft takes off from a ship. If there is no change of speed or direction all the objects should stay in the same frame of reference, I should be able to Eva around my ship which is moving at 1200 m/s, I should be able to take off from my carrack without the rear of the ship hitting my Pisces at 1200/ms as soon as my landing gear leaves the ground. Is it planned, if so, what prevents its implementation, are there insurmountable technical problems ? Star Citizen is intended as a "physical simulation" unfortunately there is current zero accurate motion physics. We find ourselves in geostationary orbit as soon as we leave a moon or planet, gravity goes from a fixed value to zero as soon as we leave the atmosphere, there is no conservation of momentum ect... Im not asking for Kerbal, but a minimum accurate physics for immersion.
