I'm 51 years old, my son is 16 years old. You know, the last time I played a single player game, was in 2007/8 when Mass effect came out. My son last played a single player game about 2 years ago. He only played it for about 20 hours, because it was free on EPIC. We discussed this moving of CIG's core development team to Squadron 42 and quite frankly, NEITHER of us understand it!! My son said, he will NOT pay, nor ask me to pay for a single player game! He goes so far as to rather play Roblox games with his friends then playing single player games ... Multiplayer games make much more money then single player games. So I am wondering, why move your main development team to a single player version of this game when most of your support comes from people whom love to play together??? Isn't that begging for disaster? Now for the controversy: (added) People that play with me, know that due to real life responsibilities, I get 3 to 8 hours game play a week. There are 1 or 2 weeks a year that I can play 30 hour the week. Now lets say, every chapter in Squadron 42 takes 20 hours to complete. I am not going to use me restricted gameplay time on any single player game. I would much rather play with my friends. It also seem that CIG wants to force me to play that single player version to get the reputation and items I would love and this also, doesn't sit well with me!
